New robust Rotor System for the Endurance Wind Power E-3120 turbine. This system features aerodynamic braking for enhanced safety and delivers competitive energy production.

The Endurance E-4660 turbine, while sharing a yaw bearing design with the E-3120, experiences significantly higher dynamic and extreme loads due to its larger rotor. This has resulted in catastrophic bearing failures and costly downtime across multiple E-4660 installations. NorZet has conducted a comprehensive load and retrofit analysis and partnered with leading bearing manufacturers to develop a robust retrofit solution.

Our Endurance E-3120 wind turbine experienced premature rotor failure after refurbishment (less than 2 years). Fortunately, NorZet, whos founders were part of the design team of the well-regarded Earthmill/Britwind bedplate and shaft upgrade for the E-3120, offered their New Rotor prototype testing on our wind turbine.
